HAIR TRANSPLANT

Hair transplantation aims to restore a more youthful appearance for those distressed by hair loss, particularly androgenetic alopecia.Hair follicles in the occipital scalp are harvested and then planted on to the frontal scalp, and less often to the vertex. There are two methods of harvesting the follicles from the occipital scalp. In the first method, also called follicular unit transplantation (FUT), a strip is harvested from the occipital scalp, whereas in the second method individual follicular units are harvested. The latter is called follicular unit extraction.

Red light Laser and LED sources are efficient treatment for hair growth in men with androgenic alopecia.

PRP– Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a treatment modality that has gained popularity for AGA due to its autologous nature, minimal invasiveness, absence of major side effects, and more affordable cost compared with hair restoration surgery. PRP is an autologous preparation of platelets in concentrated plasma (usually > 1,000,000 platelets/μL or 2-7 times the native concentration of whole blood) . Due to its autologous origin and minimally invasive collection technique, the risk of infection and immune rejection is minimized

Scalp Micropigmentation. The goal of SMP isn’t to create hairlike lines as you would when microblading eyebrows, but instead to use tiny, layered dots in different hues of black to replicate the look of a shadow on your scalp. This style, referred to as pointillism, is done to create natural-looking depth and definit.

This process may be useful for people who experience all forms of hair loss. This includes folks with:

  • cancer
  • alopecia
  • thinning hair
  • male and female pattern baldnes
